Kid's Konnection

The purpose of Kids’ Konnection is to ignite in children passion for Jesus and all people, by partnering with their families to cultivate their God given potential.

The children are split up into 5 groups. They are:
Nursery – infants through 18 months – 2 years.
2-4 year old class
Pre Kindergarten/Kindergarten class
1st – 2nd grade
3rd – 5th grade
After 5th grade, the children join the junior youth group, Vertical Realm

The Nursery and 2-4 year old class are available throughout the entire service. All other classes begin at the end of worship (around 10:40). The classes end and children should be picked up by 11:40.

Each class, Kindergarten and younger, have a teacher and a helper. Classes for 1st grade and above have 1 teacher. Each Teacher attends orientation for their particular class and safety procedures. This training takes place on a yearly basis. Each volunteer also has a Criminal History Background check completed.

Another large part of the Children’s Ministry at ACTS is missions. We maintain contact with children of Missionaries who have gone to our church, periodically sending care packages and letters. The children also collect a weekly offering, which goes toward a sponsorship of a child in an orphanage in Liberia. The child’s name is Trust. Periodically we send letters and gifts to her as well.
